Update 1/1/2014: Happy New Year! The event has ended, please head over here to see the roundup
The alcohol I have at home...
So this time round I decide to host again and set my theme to be alcohol - because I have the tendency to buy liqueurs/liquors whenever I come back from a trip at the airport and I always can't seem to finish using the them! This theme will definitely "force" me to look for new recipes to try. 😉
By the way, do you know there is a difference between liqueur and liquor? Lqueurs are sweetened spirits with various flavors, oils, and extracts, such as Baileys, Kahlua, Cointreau etc. Liquor, on the other hand, is an alcoholic beverage made of grains or other plants which is fermented into a potent drink, such as Vodka, Gin, Rum etc. They are different so don't use them interchangeably!
